I think this one photo, taken around 1938, pretty much tells the story of my life. I'm not in sharp focus, I'm not quite sure of what's going on, and everyone else in the picture is looking in the opposite direction.

This is quite an interesting photo, Dorien-san.
I mean...while you are looking directly at the camera, ALL the others ( your relatives ? ) are far behind you, looking in the opposite direction as you said - as if whatever they're looking at is far more interesting than having their group photo taken.
What was it that's drawing their attention, I wonder ?
Well, we will never know, won't we ? ^_^;
